High Powered Class IV laser therapy provides a painless and non-drug alternative for the management of chronic and acute pain. Horses do not need sedating for this treatment. The length and frequency used varies per site. Your session time will depend on what we are treating but most protocols are around 8 - 10 minutes. Owners will often see an improvement after the first session. Conditions that can benefit from Class IV laser therapy include
  • Wounds (new or old), or even ones that you are struggling to heal
  • Tendon & ligament injury including tears, tendonitis and desmitis
